Wealth Inequality in the UK
For more than 30 years, the gap between the richest and the poorest in the UK has widened, to the point where the public perceives the UK to be a far more equal place than it is in reality.
How could the public be made aware of the striking situation of wealth inequality in the UK?
The High Pay Centre approached me and Open Cinema to create an animated film as part of their Inequality Briefing campaign. They wanted to highlight the results of a poll that demonstrated that public perception of wealth inequality was significantly off the mark.
I designed and animated this film to increase awareness on how unequal the UK actually is.
The film was featured on The Guardian and a number of other websites and was at the centre of a conversation on the problem of inequality, as well as its possible solutions.
